ION WRAY MEDIA created a single occupant vocal booth in order to record commercial narrations and vocal artists during COVID-19. The booth was sprayed with alcohol, then the microphone guard is wiped down and the room is brought to temperatures in the 130s after sessions. Recording sessions with various artists were done at least 7 days apart to keep things as transmission-free as possible.
In addition to recent commercial narration sessions, ION WRAY MEDIA joined political rapper, The Outlaw Jose Wailz; laying down vocals on Tone Jonez’s, “Domestic Policy”. Check out Jose’s song “I Can’t Breathe” below. Without spoiling Jose’s incredible lyrics, let’s just say he’s got everything you need to hear about racial injustice wrapped up in just this one track. With replay and production value at your fingertips, we recommend bumping this tune at your social distanced gatherings and out your car window so people have a chance to hear Jose’s eloquently voiced political bars. With stylings inspired by Rage, Tupac and Cypriss Hill, Jose’s poignant lyrical thoughtfulness is displayed in spades on this emotional and powerful Tone Jonez cut.

Generating a political movement takes action, yet sometimes political discourse gets dragged into rhetoric and semantics. So using an artistic medium such as hip hop can cut through the noise and amplify a voice that needs to be heard.
