Bob and Kat from Bobkatduo.com reached out to Scott Wray Media in need of a promotional video to better represent their live performances and create a tool for contacting interested bookers. It was such a pleasure filming Bob & Kat and by the end of their set we felt like we were transported to the 1970’s, hanging out at the local cool spot with James Taylor, Paul Simon, Cyndi Lauper and Stevie Knicks. Bob & Kat prove nothing could be more true to the art of story telling than the passing down of great stories through song.
Our 2nd camera operator, Emily and I shot a few different angles while they performed live. It was an easy shoot for Bob & Kat since they didn’t have to worry about any additional music video script or technical setup. This was a great way to shoot a promo where they could just focus on their performance. For audio capture we plugged our sound recording equipment straight into their mixing board and the rest was musical history!
